Who are we?
NomadBlinds has been manufacturing window furnishings in Australia for over 30 years. Established in 1976 as an importer / wholesaler of giftware and window furnishings, we were one of the first companies in Australia to distribute the Made-to-Measure Timber Venetian.
In the 90's we designed, patented and manufactured the world's first rack and pinion Timber Shutter. Today Nomad continues to innovate in the industry, producing a range of products including Roller Blinds (Internal and External), Roman Blinds, Panel Glides, Curtains, Timber Venetians, Timber Shutters and Awnings.
We use Acmeda, JAI, Rollease and Blindware systems with a few specialised components coming from other manufacturers.

Nomad manufactures high quality Blinds in standard sizes but also manufactures andspecialises in creating window furnishing solutions for extreme situations e.g. very wide (up to 5m) and long drop (up to 6m), odd shaped Roller Blinds as wellas SOMFY and Becker motorised solutions for the home or office. We place anemphasis on quality and value for money.
We can also provide solutions for media and advertising purposes as well as artistic and creative designs printed on chain driven or motorised Roller Blinds for your business or home needs.
We have one of the fastest turn around times in Australia and consistently strive for higher quality products.

Except in extreme cases, we can deliver your blinds within 7 to 10 working days and timber shutters in 6 to 8 weeks. We can advise you from the planning stage ofyour new home or office so that the best window furnishing solution is achieved.
We have worked with some of Australia largest building and architecture firms (Buildcorp, Lipmans, GNC, Rawson Homes etc) and have supplied window furnishings for the commercial fit outs of some of Australia's largest businesses (REED Group, Coolangatta Airport, Novotel etc).
